The herbs and the spices that are used in preparing the food is stone ground and the processes are traditional. The technique followed is the same as that in the ancient princely homes. The breads are done in the unique clay ovens that are known as the "tandoors".
The desserts are the ones that need to be specially mentioned. Try out the traditional Indian ice cream that is known as the "kulfi". They are sweet, sticky and sinfully delicious. Try out the Pistachio, Cinnamon and Chilli, Toasted Coconut, Mango, Sticky Date and Ginger. There is the famous "gulab jamun" that are the milk dumplings dipped in rose water syrup.
The wonderful entrees in the take away menu are the Vegetable Samosa, Prawn
Pakora, Bombay Fried Prawns, Seekh Kebab, Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken,
Calcutta Chicken, Dalcha Beef, Bombay Beef, Baltiwala Lamb, Lamb Navaratam,
Lamb Navaratam to name just a few. Drinks are also available and these are licensed
now. You can enjoy beer, white wines and red wines also.
