One of the very important events dotting the Thai calendar is the Thai culture And Food Festival celebrated with much gaiety and aplomb. This event is one of the primary events of the Thai community as they take the opportunity to display the various colorful facets of their culture and community. The Thais being famous for their rich heritage and culture goes on to celebrate the event with much zest and mirth and welcomes all to do the same!

The Festival: The festival goes on to display their love for their culture and heritage and what better way to do so than starting the event with a traditional ceremony where monks (seven) goes on to bless in the opening ceremony. The festival is vibrant with the colorful Thai dance performances (traditional), the boxing matches and beauty pageants and other various colorful events. The there are also special screening of Thai movies and films and various stalls are lined up selling the various wholesale Thai products and handicrafts.
While on the other hand the Festival also goes on to celebrate one very important facet of the Event#-The Thai cuisine! The Federation Square is packed with numerous tents that sell Thai delicacies showcasing the best of the Thai cuisine .All the famous joints in Thailand selling Thai food line up to be a part of this grand fiesta! The delicacies come at very cheap, affordable prices. All & sundry make it a point to visit the festival with their families in tow!
