The Espy is all the time full of activity and atmosphere. Saturday and Sunday nights are generally crowded depending on what bands are playing at those nights. Here at the Espy you will discover bands playing on every night of the week in the front bar. In the historical and magnificent Gershwin Room too, there is music all over night. It is this venue where from a large amount of Australian musical talent has originated. If you don't like the band in the front room, pop into the Gershwin Room to see what's going on there.
Backpackers are crawling all over the Espy on any day of the week. In fact, the crowd is so different and varied at times that you can nearly not recall which city you're in. Be sure, there is no dress code at the Espy. Anything goes here but that of course adds to its traveler appeal.
