The club donning the light olive color presents a picture perfect laboratory for chemical testing with racks of test tubes and other tools strewn all around. The club is located on a three-storied building with three different floors rendering various facilities. The ground floor is home to a laboratory, the first a hospital themed waiting lounge along with the restrooms, which are considered to be the best in Melbourne.
Let your body move with the tunes belted out by the DJs. Step up the stairs and step up your tempo as you are approaching the dance mood. The top floor has been designed in a style that reflects the imagination of a school gymnasium. But do not get carried away, it is the main dance floor of the club. The décor and the ambience will surely make your feet moving to the beats.
The rules in the 'scientific club' as it is fondly called are on the stricter side. After 10 in the night the door policies might seems to be bit tough, but all for the safety of the guests. Do not make the mistake of storming into the club in your regular office gear; the bouncers might bounce you off.
The bar at the club is named 'The Croft' with all the fun associated with it. It's never a serious affair at the club with the 'always party' attitude. The club is open from 5 in the evening to 1 in the morning during the weekdays and the entertainment continues till 3 in the morning at the weekends. On Saturdays the club opens at 6 pm instead of the regular 5pm.
Party freaks can look forward to organizing private parties as well at The Crofts Institute. Other than those there's always a reason to celebrate at the club and that is Life!
