The Fly by Night Musicians Club was founded by Music lovers and Musicians about twenty years ago. From then on it is considered to be the musical haven for all avid music lovers and till date it is among the very few that has remained dedicated to music. The Fly by Night Musicians Club has been witness to the flourishing of some very famous bands like the Eskimo Joe, John Butler Trio, The Panics, The Waifs and The Flairz. There have been others like The Beautiful Girls, Francoiz Breut, Xavier Rudd, Ani Difranco, Paul Kelly, Bic Runga, Lior, Missy Higgins, The Whitlams, The Go Betweens, and The Black Keys. The Fly by Night Musicians Club is a non- profit organization and relies solely on the contribution of the members. The members are provided with free rehearsal space and a complimentary drink up on arrival. It was originally opened solely for musical performances but now it has become a good alternative venue for various types of performances ranging from theatre to comedy.
