The Wharf Theatre, Sydney is the home base of Sydney Theatre Company located at Pier 4/5, Hickson Road, Walsh Bay. There are two theatres at the Wharf in which performances are held - Wharf 1 and Wharf 2. Wharf 1 is conveniently located at the northern end near The Wharf Restaurant and is easily accessible by various modes of transportation. In case mobility assistance of any kind is required at the Wharf, the same should be informed to the STC Box Office when booking your tickets so that prior arrangements could be made to provide for one of theatre's Front of House staff to assist you. A number of spaces are available for wheelchairs in each theatre. In case any guests have trouble climbing the stairs or walking long distances, wheelchair assistance can be provided to them on request for the same. To enable the "hearing impaired" theatre patrons to experience the best of the show, both Wharf 1 and Wharf 2 theatres provide an infrared hearing assistance system. Getting to Wharf Theatre, Sydney The strategic location of the Wharf Theatre, Sydney close to the Circular Quay makes it easily accessible by various modes of transportation be it trains, ferries or buses as all these have frequent services to Circular Quay. From there one has to walk only 20 minutes to reach the theatre. The best way to reach is to follow the harbor foreshore, walk past the Museum of Contemporary Art, leave behind the Park Hyatt hotel, cross from under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and turn around the corner - and there you can find the fabulous Wharf Theatre.
