Location
The Garigal National Park is at a distance of 20km towards the north o central region of Sydney. This national park covers a huge area and is along the Bantry Bay and the Middle Harbor. The vast bushy regions are exclusive of the Garigal National Park and the water can the visitors can get a wonderful view of the water from here.

During the daylight saving periods, the gates of the park are closed from 8pm to 6am. During the other times of the year it remains closed from 6.30pm till 6am.

Entertainments
This park is popular for having tracks made by bushwalkers and the bike riders. These tracks are located especially between the St Ives and the Belrose. An area of picnic by the name of Davidson is located in the Middle Harbor. This region is popular for fishing and boating along with the facilities of wash rooms. The entrance of this area is from the southern end passing from the Warringah Road. The park does not have permission for camping. The excellent scenic beauty can be enjoyed by the bushwalkers from the walking track system.

There are a huge species of amphibians, aves, mammalians' and reptiles collected in this national park. The fauna of the Garigal Natioanl Park is varied and is one of the best visited regions of Sydney. Some of the species found in this park are red-crowned Toadlet, Green Streamed Frog, striated Thornbill, Pacific Baza, Australian Owlet-nightjar, koalas, mainland Tiger snake and many more.
