Elizabeth Farm is one of the most important historical sites in Australia. It is situated in Rosehill in New South Wales. This farm is managed and supervised by the Historical Houses Trust. Elizabeth Farm was the house of two great personalities of Australia, John Macarthur and Elizabeth Macarthur. They were the innovators of the Australian Wool Industry. This Farm consists of 15 rooms in the main house along with the servant's quarters. The iconic aspect of this house is its shady verandas. It had become highly popular among the people of Australia to a great extent during that point of time. The gardens attached to the Elizabeth Farm are also very popular among the tourists and they truly contemplate the cultural aspect. The interiors of the house hold replicas of the 19th century furnishings along with the other belongings of the owners. The Elizabeth Farm has a tearoom as well which can be availed for both lunch and tea. The tea that is served is known as Devonshire Tea. The Farm has gone through numerable changes in the past years, yet it still holds touches of the original structure and that is the reason behind its being the oldest European building of Australia. This Farm has become a museum now and is open for public viewing as well.
