This place is a popular tourist destination and is visited by different types of people. This place has got all the ingredients to cater to visitors from the different segments of society. There are nightclubs, strip clubs , trendy cafes etc. all in one place. This place is referred to as Australia's red light capital. This place is also highly infamous for drugs as well. The Kings Cross is situated very close to the Central Business District of Sydney and mostly comprises of entertainment establishments. This place is highly populated as well. The place is colorful for its brilliant lights of the advertisements and other lightings. The Kings Cross is an ideal example of the other side of life and how different it is from the fast moving everyday normal life. It is highly advisable though that the tourists or visitors should visit this place in groups at night as there are elements of trouble in this place as well. This is most applicable for the nightclubs and the other strip bars. However, things have changed in the near past and now there are cafes, restaurants and other places as well. These are better located and are much safer than some of the other places on the Kings Cross.
