Millers Point Sydney

Australia - Adelaide - Brisbane - Alice Springs - Cairns - Canberra - Darwin - Gold Coast - Hobart - Melbourne - Newcastle - Perth - Port Douglas - Launceston - Sydney - Townsville
If you want to go back in time and rewind the scenes of history then you need to follow Sussex Street and venture towards the Rocks area where you would enter the charming area of Sydney that has the nostalgia of the Rocks area sans the big crowd.
Previously Millers point used to be a sea port village and home to a lot of activities like whaling, sealing, and shiploads of sandalwood ships used to come calling in.
Today the place is buzzing with activities and the shops and the old pubs take you back the bygone era of Sydney.
Today there are a couple of parks at the Millers point area both renowned for its beauty and the kind of views that the place provide. The one at Clyne reserve overlooks the Sydney Harbour and is a two tiered park with a fenced playground and barbeques to satisfy your hunger.
The other park which is available near the Millers point is the Observatory Hill Park which provides excellent view of the Sydney Harbor and the Harbor Bridge. The height of the park brings a magnificent sense of Enigma to the whole place; the park is a hilltop one and is situated at the highest point of the city. It is an ideal place for a picnic as the giant Moreton Bay Fig trees provide the right shade for any kind of outing. The park also has a large grassed area along with a large rotunda and a playground which is ideally suited for all types of fun games.
These parks are also provided with facilities like swimming pool and tennis court where you can sweat out over a game of tennis or relax in the cool blue waters. The best part about the whole concept is the fact that the park is open twenty four hours a day so you can enjoy the natural beauty and ambience throughout the night.
Though there are other parks in the city of Sydney these two parks generally stand out because of the kind of view that this place provides.
