The Rose Seidler House was built in the middle of the nineteenth century and is one of its kinds because it uses very modernistic designs and concepts and claims to be one of the most modernistic houses in the whole of Australia. The house is built in picturesque settings and presents a panoramic view of the Ku ring gai National park. The house has glass walls which go a long way in enhancing the view of the house as well as the view from the house. This house is built in a striking Bauhaus style ands is located in Wahroonga which is considered to be a suburb of Sydney. This example of outstanding architecture has been designed and built by renowned architect Harry Seidler for his beloved parents Rose and Max Seidler. The building uses open architecture with the living and the dining room using furniture very sparsely to accommodate a very intimate group to bring a sense of togetherness. It can accommodate nearly a dozen people for a dinner and about fifty people for a cocktail party. The accompanying gardens as well the grounds can be used for cocktail functions and can accommodate nearly two hundred people. The garden has a unique attraction of its own as it is full of exotic plants, rockeries, vegetable gardens and fruit trees. All this surrounded by the natural reserve presents a truly majestic sight and with its arresting settings the place is well suited for business parties and other functions. The location of the house also presents an unique opportunity for an excursion as it is located nearly thirty kilometers away from the city and takes roughly half and hour to reach by car. Car parking is also not a problem since it is free and available on the grounds. Taking the train might not be a good idea since the nearest station is some distance away from the house and it takes nearly forty minutes to reach the station. The place also operates as a museum one day a week and there are provisions for guided tours for special needs.
