There is a good availability of transport connecting Bondi Beach with the rest of the city. A train can be availed to the Bondi junction and then the beach can be reached by walking or taking a bus. From the city centre, the bus numbers 380, 333, 382 and 389 are available to take you till Bondi junction.

Experiencing Bondi Beach

The length of this beach is roughly 1 km and there are lifesavers who are appointed to allow the swimmers to swim between the flags of red and yellow. Bondi Beach is covered up with varieties of activities all through the hours along with markets and galleries. There is also a beautiful parkland located which allows the visitors to stroll, play games or simply it and spend time. Skating and cycling is also done here. On reaching the headland of this beach, one of Sydney’s Aboriginal sites can be seen. Included in the golf course, the rock engravings are a beautiful site to watch. The headland situated in the southern point has an excellent coast and a few tiny coves. It gives a great feeling to walk along this coast and enjoy the scenic beauty. Coffee shops and eating places are generally located at the Campbell Parade. This area remains busy at all hours of the day. Bargaining is at its best in the market located at the northern region of the Campbell Parade.

The non-surfers, if interested can also learn surfing here. the hire shops which are present on the beach has a collection of surf and boogie boats which the visitors can purchase if required. Lockers are provided to the people to keep their belongings safely while swimming.
