Experiencing Whale Beach

Sydney, the capital of the Australian State of New South Wales is located in the coastal region of the country. As a result, there are a number of beautiful beaches present here that attracts tourists’ all over the world. These beaches extend from the Northern part of the city till the Southern end. Except for the interior suburb area, the city is dominant especially by beaches.

Located in the Northern Peninsula of Sydney, the Whale Beach is situated in the Barrenjoey Road, Sydney- 2107. To enquire about anything regarding the Whale Beach, you need to dial 02-9977-1088. The beach is available all the 24 hours and is a great destination to be in.

Strolling on the beach holding the hands of a loved one is a rare feeling that we can experience in our busy schedules of every day life. The Whale Beach of Sydney helps to fulfill this dream of the visitors to a certain extent. This beach is mainly frequented by the children with their family and hence is a great family picnic spot. Barbecue facilities are also available in this beach which is an added advantage for the visitors. Walking on the soft warm sand on the shores and stretching out in the sandy bed gives a heavenly feeling. At the southern end of the beach, the ocean pool is located and is another interesting area of the Whale Beach. The length of this ocean pool is almost 25 meters and is the swimming site of the Whale Beach.

Getting into the water without the beach inspectors is a bit risky. Hence keeping this in mind, the Whale Beach has two beach inspectors who help to keep a watch over the beach and the people getting into the water for a swim. These inspectors are generally present from the school holidays that start from the month of September and they remain till the Anzac Day weekend. The Whale Beach is mostly frequented during the summer season. In Sydney, picnics area fun in the warm months of summer and hence a lot of families are seen making Whale Beach their destination. As a result, some volunteer lifesavers are appointed on duty, especially on the weekends and the public holidays when the pressure of the visitors remain more.

So if you have a plan of spending some quality time with your friends and family and do not know the right place in Sydney, without a second thought pack your picnic bags and visit the Whale Beach!
