These inspectors are generally present from the school holidays that start from the month of September and they remain till the Anzac Day weekend. The Whale Beach is mostly frequented during the summer season. In Sydney, picnics area fun in the warm months of summer and hence a lot of families are seen making Whale Beach their destination. As a result, some volunteer lifesavers are appointed on duty, especially on the weekends and the public holidays when the pressure of the visitors remain more.
