Sydney is the capital of the Australian State of New South Wales. Sydney has a number of attractions that lures the visitors to visit this place several times. Sydney is located in the coastal region and hence is popular for its awesome and breathtaking beaches.

The most important place to see in Sydney is the Sydney Opera House that is the wonder of the 20th century architecture. The Darling Harbor is another attractive place and previously was a dock side area. Now it is transformed into an exhibition centre and is popular more among the children. The Cockle Wharf restaurant and the café complex make Darling Harbor more attractive.
The Chinese Garden of Friendship was a gift to this city from the Chinese sister city of Guangdong. In the middle of the hustle and bustle of Sydney, this garden is a place of tranquility and peace.
The IMAX Theatre with its massive movie screen and the Sydney Aquarium with a collection of more than 5000 species of Australian fish are other locations to visit.
The Sydney Harbor Bridge is one of the landmarks of this city and was completed in 1932. Among the local people the bridge is known as the "Coat Hanger". The history of the construction of the bridge is entered in the Pylon Lookout and is a must to see by the visitors.
The greatest zoological garden in the country is the Taronga Zoo that has a collection of native animals belonging to Australia. This zoo also has a collection of the rare species of animals and the location of this zoo makes it more interesting to visit. While walking on the paths of his zoo, the beautiful views of the harbor can be seen. In a nutshell, the Taronga Zoo is one of the greatest attractions of Sydney and is worth visiting.
