Randwick: Introduction

Randwick falls in the state of New South Wales and is located in south-eastern Sydney. Essentially a suburb, Randwick is only 6 km from Sydney central business district.

Randwick: History

Randwick takes its name from the village of Randwick in Gloucestershire, England. The mayor of the district, Simeon Henry Pearce hailed from the particular village in England. He along with his brother had worked hard at developing Randwick in its early years. Randwick municipality is the oldest in New South Wales.
