MLC Center is a famous shopping center in Sydney. Though it is smaller compared to the other shopping malls of the city, yet it is one of the best-known shopping centers known for its good quality products. MLC Center, Sydney is located in Martin Place, in Corner of King and Castlereagh Street.

MLC Center, Sydney was opened in the year 1977. Since then it has been housing the stores some of the major international as well national brands and designer wear. It is a huge skyscraper, which is 228 meters high and has a total of 67 floors. The building is octagonal in shape and is white in color. During the period 1977 to 1992, it was in fact the tallest building of the city. The MLC Center is also one of the tallest reinforced concrete buildings of the world.

The building houses the office of the Consulate of the United States of America. The shopping center is located in the podium in the building. The building also has a cinema and a theatre called the Royal Theatre. The store is open from 8:30 in the morning till 5:30 in the evening. On Thursdays, however, it remains open till 6:30 in the evening. On Saturdays and Sundays, the store opens at 10:00 in the morning and shuts down by 4:00 in the evening. The store offers parking facility to the visitors. One can park one's car for a certain fee. Parking hours are from 7 in the morning to 10 in the night on weekdays.

The building is filled with a large number of shops selling designer labels, fashion accessories, gift items, souvenirs, accessories, foot wear, home wares and numerous other speciality stores. In fact, this plaza is the perfect place to get stylish items. As far as fashion accessories and apparels are concerned, some of the major brands that one can find over here include Gucci, Cartier, Longchamp, Farage, Tie Rack, Stephen Adler Shoe-Clothing, Belinda and others.
