The preparations that the waiters will be serving you here with a rapid pace, is full of flavor. You will find flavorsome dishes like the pan-fried dumplings, slightly crispy on the outside and filled with pork and garlic clives, burst with hot broth when bitten into. Northern Chinese cuisine comprises of otherwise bland food enlivened only by the addition of copious amounts of chili.
The hand-made smooth and chewy noodle is most satisfying to eat. The sliced cucumber perfectly complements the rich sauce. The special eggplant with soy sauce - deep fried pieces of eggplant bound together with a sticky soy and punctuated with chopped coriander was another highlight.
The amazing thing regarding this Chinese restaurant is how full you get here for the dollars spent. A dozen dumplings for $7 and a plate of noodles for $8.50 will make you completely satisfied. Excellent food at an excellent price - highly recommended.
You’ll enjoy the peculiar decoration and traditional service as part of the cultural experience even more!
If you get a chance, take a peek through the window into the kitchen. It is here that you will see a large coil of silky dough ready to be made into noodles. Every so often you will hear a thud and more noodles are created by magic from the coil.
This small yet comforting restaurant serving authentic, top-class food at a very reasonable price can be thoroughly recommended. As an additional bonus, this restaurant is smoke free!
