Manama is the capital city of Bahrain, a small country in the Middle-East.
It is also the largest city of the country. Manama, like the most of the part
of Middle East, is dominated by Muslims. Although it is influenced by Islamic
culture, one third of the city dwellers are not native to Bahrain and it makes
Manama a cosmopolitan city. Manama is democratic at heart and always welcomes
foreigners and travelers. Manama has so many attractions for the travelers,
namely, Bahrain Fort, Bab el-Bahrain Souk, which is a busy market place, Bahrain
International Circuit, a Formula One racing track, Al-Faith Mosque, etc. There

Bahrain National Museum
Bahrain National Museum was established in 1988. This museum has a rich collection
of Bahrain's ancient archeological artifacts. Coming to this museum will give
you knowledge of Bahrain's 6000 years old history. There is a vivid archeological
description of an ancient civilization named Dilmun that was developed in Bahrain

Museum of Pearl Diving
Museum of Pearl Diving is considered as one of the oldest building in Manama
as well as in Bahrain. It was the first official center for Bahrain Courts.
This museum will give you a flavor of local heritage of Bahrain. The building
of this museum is a marvelous example of historic architecture.
Beit Al Qur'an
Beit Al Qur'an is an Arabic word which means the House of Quran. Beit Al Qur'an
is one of the most important of Manama Museums and it exhibits mainly the Islamic
history and culture of the country. Within the compound of Beit Al Qur'an you
will find
the Al Hayat Museum, the Abdul Rahman Jassim Kanoo Mosque, Muhammad Bin Khalifa
Bin Salman Al Khalifa Conference Hall, Al Furqan Library, and Yusuf Bin Ahmed
Kanoo School. The Al Hayat Museum in Beit Al Qur'an has 10 halls that are interconnected
and mainly exhibits a wide collection of rare Islamic manuscripts.
