Between November and March is the best time to visit Bahrain when it's not
too hot. Among the other months October & April are just bearable. Be sure
to take along winter clothes during December-March as the evenings are cool.
Summer in Bahrain ranges from May to September and is very hot and humid. Occasional
blowing cool northerly winds provide some relief. The frequent the hot and dry
summer winds bring sandstorms.
Evade trip to Bahrain during Ramadan, the Muslim month of daytime fasting as
lives slow down significantly. During the Haj annual pilgrimage to Mecca and
over New Year's Eve accommodations become very tough to find, especially at
the budget range where prices of hotels soar high.
