Getting to Beijing by Air is not difficult since there are regular flights linking the city to other countries in the world. A number of airports in Beijing serve as gateways to the capital city. Besides Beijing Capital International Airport, other Beijing airports are Badaling Airport, Namyuan Airport, Liangxiang Airport and Xijiao Airport, which are mainly use for military purposes. Beijing Capital Airport is the largest airport in China.

If you are getting to Beijing by air from London then it will take about 10 hours and 10 minutes to reach. From New York the flight time to Beijing is 14 hours 40 minutes.

A superhighway connects Beijing with Tianjin. Besides the city is also connected with Hangzhou and the port of Ningbo by a four-lane toll highway. A number of buses travel into the city from the main cities. Though these buses are normally jam-packed but take you to the interiors of the city. It will take you to the places where trains cannot. You may travel to Beijing on luxury buses for a comfortable journey.

Getting to Beijing by train is easy as the city is very well connected with other parts of China. There are four railway stations in Beijing that act as gateways. These railway stations include Beijing Railway Station, Beijing East Railway Station, Beijing North Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station.
