After rigorous tests conducted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, it has been seen that the Yongle Bell's sound can reach up to a maximum of 120 decibels and can be heard even 50 kilometers away in the silence of night. It must also be mentioned that studies by the Chinese Acoustics Institute have found that the Yongle Bell has a frequency that ranges from 22 to 800 hertz. Admission fee for the Big Bell Temple (Da Zhong Si), Beijing is 10 yuan. There is an extra charge of 2 yuan to climb the Bell Tower.
