Built in 1420 A.D. during the Ming dynasty in order to offer sacrifice to Heaven, Temple of Heaven is worth visiting during Sightseeing in Beijing. It was here in this temple, the emperors of Qing and Mind dynasty prayed for the arrival of good harvests and rain. It is believed that their echo was heard all along the hallways.
The first word that strikes mind when we talk about the architecture of Temple of Heaven, Beijing is 'superb'.
