Wenhua Park is one of the premier parks of the city that is extremely popular amongst the denizens as well as the tourists visiting the city. Wenhua Parks is a historically significant park. It is home to the biggest Taoist temple in Chengdu, the Green goat Temple. After renovation, this active temple has become extremely colorful boasting of a wide variety of brightly colored paintings and statues. The walls of the temple is embellished with sculptures of real as well as mythical animals and dragons and besides these, there is also a gigantic statue of two bronze goats, which symbolizes fortune.
