The long Fanglin Road is one of the first "Street of Bars" appointed
by the municipal government. Chengdu is also called "China's Party City"

Passion for wine began in the ancient times in Chengdu due to availability of
desirable raw materials, water, soil and climate. Lingqiong wine, Pitong wine,
Lichi wine are few of the kinds to name. There are wine legends that seeded
the wine culture; like Wenjundanglu and Xiangruqiqi in Han dynasty and a wine
pool dug by Huang Tingjian the poet in Song dynasty. Tourists visit these relics.
Sichuan shows off for a wide scope of brand wines, and Wuliangye, Luzhoulaojiao,
Jianlangchun, Langjiu, Quanxingdaqu and Tuopaiqujiu are named as "six blossoms"
in wine industry.
