While visiting the People's Republic of China, you must also visit the beautiful city of Lijiang. Lijiang, China is an administrative division in the Mainland China. The city is located in the northwestern region of the Yunnan Province in China. There are two divisions in the city of Lijiang and these are the urban and the rural areas. The charming climate and the magnificent natural scenario of the city attract thousands of people from all over the world throughout the year.
Lijiang is home to almost 1,100,000 people. Various ethnic groups reside in this city. The old town of the city Lijiang is also known as the - Dayan old town - in the local area. The city consists of total four counties. These are Liijang new town, Dayan old town, Baisha old town, Shuhe old town, and also some parts of the Tiger Leaping Gorge.
There are so many tourist destinations in the city. You will get to see several temples, museums, amusements parks, gardens and so on. The transport system is not very much developed in Lijiang, China. So you have to walk through the streets to visit the tourist attractions in the town.
