Passports

For traveling to China one required a valid passport and be ensure about its expiry period. In addition to passport visitor must hold a visa issued by the Chinese authorities. Visas are required for Canadian and US citizens.

Vaccinations

Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is must for the tourist coming from the infected area. Usually there is no need for evidence of inoculations for entering China.

Photography

Except military installations you can photograph most of the things. But it is advisable to ask for permission of the subject. It's better to bring your own supply of batteries, flashbulbs, films etc.

Clothing

Choose lightweight clothes made of cotton and linen for summer season. For winters light jackets and sweaters are enough.

Narcotics, pornography, firearms, inflammatory political or evangelical literature, and contraband are all absolutely forbidden.
