Dalian Parks and Gardens

Some of the major parks and gardens of the Dalian are Laohutan Scenic Park, Labor Park and Xinghai Park.

Laohutan Scenic Park is one of the premier parks of Dalian. Located in the heart of the southern seashore of city, Laohutan Scenic Park is the biggest modern lido of China, covering an area of 1,180,000 square meters or 291 acres along with a coastline that extends over 4,000 meters. While touring the park, you will witness many spectacular natural sceneries as well as breathtaking man-made sights that include the Tigers Sculpture Square and Laohutan Polar Region Marine Animals World.

Labor Park is one of the premium parks of the city. It is a modern large-scale park that features a unique blend of sightseeing, amusement, leisure and cultural activities. The highlight of the Labor Park is its architecture, which boasts of a blend of open and transparent style with Chinese traditional style. There is a big soccer ball at the center of the park along with a sky lift that goes to the top of the mountain, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of downtown on a clear day.

Xinghai Park is another popular park of the city. The park is features a 0.15 million-square-meter garden and a man-made beach. Xinghai Park is also home to the Sun Asia Ocean World and Ocean Amusement Park. The 800 meter long and 30 meter man made beach of the park is the primary highlight of the park. The bow shaped bathing beach is an ideal summer playground and allows you to enjoy a wide array of water related sports and activities.
