Yuying Garden in Guangzhou

The Yuying Garden in Guangzhou is also known as the Yuyin Mountain House and is located in Nancun Town, Panyu. The garden and the house shares a history which is around 130 years old and the construction of this historical relic took place in the 6th year of the Tongzhi Period during the rule of the Qing Dynasty. It is really an honor to see and explore this beautiful garden along with the mountain house.

Features of Yuying Garden in Guangzhou

- The main feature of the garden house is its meticulous use of limited space. With the floor area amounting to only 1500 meter square, the space is used nicely. The intelligent usage of space is enough indications to point out the work of a professional and artistic mind behind the creation.

- Even if the garden may seem small there are a number of features like a decorated pavilion, tower, veranda, corridor, bridge accompanying the garden. All the windows promise you a great scenic view.

- The Mountain House is an exquisite example of fine work of art. The original designs with their deep meanings are used in the elegant architectural features of the house. It is a fine specimen of Lingnan Garden architecture.

- Owing to the irregular plane of the house the attractions in the garden and around the house is divided into the eastern and western section. The respective sections are joined by the Corridor Bridge which is the most significant feature to be noticed in the garden.

- The Deep Willow Hall with the Pool side Villa makes for the prime attraction in the western side of the garden. The intricate woodcarvings are really worthy of praise.

- The other sections of the Garden include the octagon shaped waterside Exquisite Pavilion in the east, the Olive Branch Hall and the Peacock Pavilion in the north east corner and the Willow tower in the South east corner.

- The courtyard of the house has the flower plants in their full bloom while trees like pineapple, araucaria are strewn all over the garden making the place look more heavenly.
