Hangzhou Botanical Gardens has two divisions. The divisions are the research section and the pleasure garden. The term research section is self explanatory. Here different studies are made on the cultivation of plants and protection of the environment. The pleasure gardens again have different classifications like Botany Classification Garden, Botany Appreciation Garden, Bamboo Garden, Garden of Economic Plants, Plant Resources Museum and the Medicinal Garden. Try to make your trip in winter and you will get to see one of the most incredible sights in the world. There are over five thousand upright plum trees and during winter these trees stretch towards the cold wind and snowflakes fall on the plum blossoms. What a spectacle it is has to be seen, it cannot be expressed with mere words!
