The Legend:

The Hupao spring is also known as the Tiger Running Spring and this queer name comes from an old legend. The legend says that the temple had been there once upon a time and was inhabited by a priest who was suffering due to the insufficiency of water in that place. One night the monk dreamt of an immortal creature who told him that the very soon there would be a spring before the temple, created by two mighty tigers. As the legend goes, two tigers appeared the very next day and dug a hole in the ground from where emerged the Hupao Spring.
