Lingshan Hill Illusion in Hangzhou is also called the Lingshan Hill Cave and this popular tourist attraction is as old as 1500 years. The cave covers an area of about 4000 square meters and it is styled like a tower with a distance of 109 meters from the ceiling to the floor. The Lingshan hill cave is a Limestone Cave that has plenty of stalactites, each bearing distinct structure. Some of them look like flowers; some like birds, some like running tigers and some even give the illusion of a celestial being lying on his stomach. These lifelike structures that delude the visitors into believing them to be true give the Cave its name “Lingshan Hill Illusion”. The water in the cave reflects the images adding more illusory beauty to the existing scenario.
