Located at the corner where Pan Yu Road and Xin Hua Road intersect each other, Shanghai Film Art Center is the largest and most popular cinema hall in Shanghai.

Rubbing shoulder with the Holiday Inn Crown Plaza Hotel, Shanghai Film Art Center was the proud host of Shanghai International Film Festival. Open throughout the week from 11 in the morning till 11 at night, the hall screens Chinese, Hong Kong and Hollywood blockbusters.

With 2 screens, the hall shows simultaneous screenings. The seats are very comfortable with arm rest facility. Both the auditoriums are fitted with Dolby Digital Stereo System. Therefore you are guaranteed to hear all the dialogues loud and clear. With proper air-conditioning facility available, you can be assured of a pleasant temperature inside the hall even in the sultry Shanghai summer.

There are food stalls inside Shanghai Film Art Center premise. So you can munch popcorn, sip into cola while watching films. Tickets are moderately priced at 40 Chinese Yuan. You can book your ticket over telephone by calling their hotline number. If you however want to buy ticket in person, you could buy it from the ticket booking counter between 9 am and 7:30 pm.
