Shanghai is a major city in China situated on the located on the banks of the Yangtze River Delta in East China. Shanghai is the largest city in China. The city is extremely important since it contributes significantly to the growth and development of China's economy. The city infact is often referred to as the citadel of China's modern economy. Besides being an industrial and commercial hub, China happens to be the cultural hub of the country as well. The city has numerous monuments and entertainment options and can be regarded as one of the hottest tourist destinations.

There are a number of popular destinations in China. The People's Square for example which was once the Race Course of the city is a great shopping and entertainment option. Three on the Bund is situated on Shanghai's Historic Waterfront and has some of the top restaurants of Shanghai situated here. The flagship store of Armani is also situated here.
