Shanghai is a major city in China situated on the located on the banks of the
Yangtze River Delta in East China. Shanghai is the largest city in China. The
city is extremely important since it contributes significantly to the growth and
development of China's economy. The city infact is often referred to as the citadel
of China's modern economy. Besides being an industrial and commercial hub, China
happens to be the cultural hub of the country as well. The city has numerous monuments
and entertainment options and can be regarded as one of the hottest tourist destinations.

The city has a rich history that can be traced back to over 6000 years. There
are number of Museums in Shanghai that has tried to preserve some of the strong
legacies of the city. The Shanghai Museum is the most important and prominent

China Sex Museum and Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall among others.
