Shenzhen Weather
China - Xian - Beijing - Guangzhou - Chengdu - Dalian - Shenzhen - Shanghai - Hangzhou
Geographically, Shenzhen is a buffer between socialist and capitalist China. This was one of the first of the Chinese towns to open its doors to globalization in 1980. However difficult it might be to imagine, until 1979, Shenzhen was a relatively underdeveloped township. It is an example of what can be achieved with massive amount of capital within a short span of time.
The climate of Shenzhen is relatively similar to that of Hong Kong and temperatures here can be almost subtropical with intense summer heat during the summer months and plenty of heavy downpours due to the presence of the Tropic of Cancer. Summers are exceptionally long running for almost six months and temperatures can extend up to 35 degrees Celsius. The best season to drop in here is the period between August and September when the weather remains pleasant.
