Fairy Lake Botanical Gardens

The Fairy Lake Botanical Gardens is the very place where nature lovers will want to spend at least half a day exploring. The things to see include: an enclosed cacti and greenhouse and the spooky forest comprised of fossilized trees from the recesses of Inner Mongolia and Xingjian. Located in the Luohu District of Liantang, the Shenzhen Fairy Lake Botanical Gardens is a scenic spot to focus on tourism, scientific research and science popularization.

There are 16 collections with above 3000 species which are conserved in the garden. The entire garden can be categorized into: Earthly Paradise, Lake Spot, Temple Spot, Desert Spot, Fossil Forest, and Pines, Cypresses Azaleas. Here there are dozens of landscapes like caves, mazes, Heavenly Pond, Billow-enjoying Pavilion and Pavilion of interest. The botanical variety comprises: palm forest, bamboo forest and potted landscape yard and rare and priceless wood varieties.

The palm area is an insight into the typical tropical scenery with green grass that is dotted with cocoa trees and sunflowers. In the zone of the ornamental plants, there are the insectivorous ones which are eagerly awaiting games while the charming flowers of the orchid species resembling the moves of the maids-of-honor. The upright agate fossils in the fossil forest tell the countless ups and downs of the evolution of plant life down billions of years.
