Hieroglyphics are the first sign evidences of writing that strike when there
is discussion about languages in Egypt's mysterical world. Hieroglyphic signs
represent a single letter or combination of two or more letters. However the
script used by the priests during the period is known by the name of "hieratic".
This script was different from what the common people used i.e. "demotic".

It was only during the Greek era of Egypt that the new Greek language was introduced
in Egypt's land. The Romans introduced Latin language to Egypt but it failed
to subsidized Greek language form the land of Egypt.
But soon Greek speaking people phoneticize the indigenous Egyptian language.i.e.
Demotic and a new language called "Coptic" was founded. Coptic is
the Egyptian language written with the Greek letters in addition with six to
eight additional letters that represent sounds. With the Islamic conquest Arabic
became the official language of Egypt.
At present time the national language of Egypt is the Egyptian Arabic that
replaced Coptic Egyptian after the Arabs rule in Egypt. But the Coptic Church
of Egypt still uses it.
