Cairo the capital city of Egypt lies on the banks of Nile River in northern part
of Egypt. Officially known by the name of Al-Qahirah, Cairo is the most populous
metropolitan city in African continent.
Officially founded in AD 969 Al-Qahirah or Cairo was earlier known by the name
of Al- Fustat and was founded in AD 641. Fustat became regional center of Islam
only during the period of Umayyad. Throughout the Egypt history, Cairo city
underwent many radical changes that were visible in the form of world famous
structures mainly in the Islamic world.
Cairo is not only the capital city of Egypt but is the nucleus of Egypt in
every aspect. Whether it is economy or religion or culture or tourism, Cairo
