The most vibrant nightlife of Egypt is of capital city-Cairo. Although Egypt is a Muslim country but you can see Cairenes enjoying all night. Drinking alcohol is not prohibited but is generally not taken under social culture.
Cairo has numerous nightlife options. Basic are the "Baladi bars" often called as 'cafeterias'. These bars do not sell alcohol. But these bars are permanently male domain areas. Along with these private owned bars most of the hotels have bars made in Western style and are as popular as cafeterias.

Alexandria is another city that offers vibrant nightlife of Egypt's land. Several hotel nightclubs offer dinner program with a Russian Show and a belly dance program. The best ones are in the Helnan Palestine and the Montazah Sheraton. Most of the young people of Alexandria love to throng discos that exude sweat and Arabic pop.
King Street restaurants are the center of Alexandria's nightlife club and bars.
However the Morrison House is quite famous among the older section of the society.
