The Cévennes National Park in France is located on the Massif Central Mountains. This is the only French national park which is situated on the low mountains. The important places of interest within the park includes the Causse Mejean or the limestone plateau, Sauveterre, Mont Lozere, Bouges mountain, Gardons valleys, the Vallee Francaise, which is watered by the river Gardon of Sainte-Croix, Mont Aigoual and the Lingas with dense covers of spruce, firs and beeches.
