This museum is a national museum in Paris. It was formed in 1973 ater Picasso's death with several works of his that went to the French state.

A large seventeenth century hotel was chosen to house the collections of Picasso. The architect was the famous Jean de Bourges.

You can see in the National Picasso Museum several thousand art works of Picasso. The collection includes more than 3000 drawings, manuscripts and engravings. There are also 85 ceramics, 191 sculptures and 203 paintings of Picasso.

The National Picasso Museum also boasts a fine collection of Iberian bronzes.You can also see a lot of primitive art in this Paris museum.

You are allowed to take photographs of the collections in the National Picasso Museum.
