Features of Jardin des Tuileries: The Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden) is a garden made in an Italian style and it is build around Palais de Tuileries under the instruction of Catherine de Medicis. The Garden though created in16th century was redone in the 17th century by the famous gardener of Louis XIV, Andre le Notre. The Garden quickly became a favorite entertainment spot for the general public. The Jardin des Tuileries was far ahead the other parks of its day. The park provided the visitors with facilities such as cafes, deck chairs and public toilets as early as 18th century.

The Park has been refurbished in 1990 but the main design was kept unaltered. The park was separated from car traffic and there were also many modern architectural pieces added to the ancient land.

Today the park also features two museums that attract several visitors. The Park is very spacious and people enjoy relaxing here on a deck chair and enjoying the spouts of water from the two beautiful fountains. The Jardin des Tuileries is also the venue of several activities for children like painting and sculpturing. Kids enjoy the merry go round in the park and there are also small boats for hire. The boat ride amuses the children and the adults alike.
