Fukuoka Yahoo Japan Dome is a baseball stadium. It is very interesting to note that this Asian country loves and enjoys baseball and especially the younger generation is becoming more and more enamored with it as the years roll by. Fukuoka Yahoo Japan Dome is also the headquarters of Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, one of the noted baseball groups.

This stadium has a futuristic architecture and went by the name of Fukuoka Dome but in 2005 one of Softbank’s subsidiaries, Yahoo! Japan, bought the stadium's naming rights, and it was renamed as ‘Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome’. It was built in 1993 and has forty eight thousand seats. This stadium has hosted famous musicians like Madonna, Rolling Stones, Eagles, and Billy Joel who performed here. One of the chief attractions in the Fukuoka Yahoo Japan Dome is the retractable roof that opens and closes within 20 minutes.
