Brandenburger Gate Berlin

Brandenburger Gate, Berlin represents the great wall in Berlin which used to divide the city. The gate is located in Pariser Platz. The gate has become an icon of the unification of Berlin. Though the statue again came back to Berlin around 1814

The Brandenburger Gate, Berlin is the only gate that exists from the remains of the city wall. The gate was reinstated by both the East Berlin and West Berlin governments. The gate was closed in the year 1961 when the Berlin Wall was built.
