The Schloss Charlottenburg, Berlin is the largest and most stunning palace in entire Berlin. The palace is the striking example for baroque architecture. The central part of the palace was built during the period of 1695-99. The palace was the summer dwelling for Sophie Charlotte, the companion of Elector Friedrich III. The expansion of the palace took place during the time when Friedrich became the first Prussian King. The style of the palace was incorporated from the palace located at Versailles.
