Ecosystem in Germany comprises of National Parks Nature parks and Biosphere
reserves. National parks are wild areas which have been recovered and protected.
The nature parks are so important that they are sometimes compared to the bricks
of the European house. Nature parks are generally large protected areas. These
provide recreational activities. These are also instrumental for promoting tourism
thus enhancing the responsibility of man towards nature and harmonizing the
relationship between man and nature.
Some of the national parks in Germany are the Hamburg Wadden Sea National Park,
Jasmond National Park, Muritz National Park and the Harz National Park. While
visiting the nature parks one should abide by the rules and guidelines of the
respected park. For instance one should not be rude in his treatment with the
animals. Feeding the animals should be avoided, one should not encroach on the
protected areas within the park. Ecosystem in Germany is meant for the general
people as well as for the visitors. There are many species of animals which
are on the verge of being extinct. These rare species are protected in the parks
under strict vigilance.
The Mueritz National Park, situated beside the lake Mueritz encompasses a large area of 310 square kms. The park is unique because ancient woodland conditions prevail here. Ecosystem in Germany is at its best here. The park has some rare species of oak, beech, conifer woods with a rich variety of flora and fauna like black storks, cranes, cormorants, various deer and wild swine.
It is a great feeling to be amidst nature. Ecosystem in Germany has many more
interesting sights to offer.
