The Cannstatter Wasen's Fest, Germany is the second largest beer festival of Europe. This festival is held during the months of September and October and lasts for two weeks. This festival was first held in the year 1818. The origin of the festival can be traced back to the annual agricultural fair that was held over here at that time. It was huge success with nearly 30000 people participating in this festival. Initially the festival was held for only one day. But as the years passed and its popularity increased, the celebrations extended to four, ten and eventually to sixteen days.

Every year, a new fruit column is constructed based on a new design. Visitors of the fair can come over here and enjoy the traditional music played by the local bands. Children can enjoy themselves by going on the Ferris wheel, the loop-the-loop roller coaster and the chairoplane merry go-round.
