On Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays, the museum opens at 10 o’ clock in the morning and closes at 5 o’ clock in the evening. On Wednesday, it opens at 10 o’ clock in the morning and closes at 8 o’ clock in the evening. On Fridays, it opens at 10 o’ clock in the morning and closes at 2 o’ clock in the afternoon. On Saturdays, it opens at 1 o’ clock in the afternnon and closes at 5 o’ clock in the evening. The Historical Museum of Frankfurt remains closed on Mondays.

The admission fee for the adult tourists and visitors is 4 Euros, i.e. basically 5 US dollars. Besides, tickets are available at reduced or concession rates. The reduced tickets for children in the age group of six to eighteen years are priced at 2 Euros, i.e. around 2.5 US dollars. There is no admission fee required for children less than six years of age.
