This is a city in the northern part of Germany and it borders on the Baltic Sea. It has been the seat of the German shipbuilders and also a major naval base. There are various sailing events held in Kiel and the most famous among them is the Kieler Woche and it is also one of the biggest sailing events in the world. The Olympic Sailing competition has also been held in Kiel.
