Visit the Old Town to the west, you will find this area full of interesting small shops, pubs and restaurants. Kramerstrasse and Burgstrasse represent the best examples of medieval housing and street layout. Some other important architecture worth seeing are the 15th-century Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall), the Kreuzkirche (Church of the Holy Cross) and the Marktkirche (Market Church), both dating from the 14th century. Though the streets of Hanover do not that have the grandeur and glitter like the streets in Berlin or Hanover, the multiple examples of street art brings the city life.
