Opera Festival, Munich The Munich Opera Festival is an opera festival located in Munich, Germany and presented annually at the National Theatre (Munich) by the Bavarian State Opera. The Bavarian State Opera presents several seasons of opera festivals throughout the year. Held every summer since 1876, the Munich Opera Festival features a vast programme of opera and ballet performances, spread over 35 days. The Opera festival takes place in June- July and the timings are flexible. The cost also varies.
